Holiday Inn South (Chef David from Holiday Inn South)
Some of the highlights of Chef Emmanuel’s career have included preparing a state dinner for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, opening his own restaurant in west Edmonton, and participating in top-level international culinary competitions for both Culinary Team Canada and Culinary Team Alberta.
Executive Chef Emmanuel David was born in Grenada. After his arrival in Canada, he attended college in Montreal, moving west to Regina in 1982. Since then, Chef Emmanuel has steadily gained recognition for his talents, working in kitchens across North America and competing in numerous national and international culinary competitions.
Chef Emmanuel is well known for his impressive competitive career. Since he first stepped into the culinary arena, Chef Emmanuel has been awarded eight individual gold medals in provincial culinary competitions. Internationally, Chef Emmanuel has won three individual gold medals, and one team silver medal as part of Culinary Team Canada and one individual silver medal and one team silver medal as part of the renowned Culinary Team Alberta.

Home brewing brothers turned full-fledged beer makers Charlie and Graeme Bredo officially launched Troubled Monk in June of 2015, turning their passion for great beer into a business that we can all enjoy. Troubled Monk is a great little gem in Red Deer and not something to be overlooked. Dealing in manly tall cans, casks, growlers and kegs these beer-making brothers have a gift for barely and hops and are sharing it with the entirety of Central Alberta.
Our Private Chocolate Parties have been a huge hit with Chocolate Lovers. Choose from the parties you see here or contact us if you have your own idea! A $100 deposit is required to reserve your party date. Attendees will pay individually when they arrive at the store the day of the party and your $100 deposit will be refunded back to you at that time.

Alberta Sports Hall of Fame & Museum
Lobby/Reception area holds approx 200 cocktail style reception. There are onsite tables and chairs for Lobby seating up to 50 people, however the Lobby can seat up to 100 if additional seating is arranged. Museum will coordinate Amazing Race Challenges etc.
Heritage Ranch – Ranch Tracker
Experience the thrill of being a fugitive. Shortly after you’re dropped off, we release the ranch tracker and the game is on. You have 1 hour to remain at large and capture all 4 flags. You are equipped with a map of the area, compass or if you prefer, a gps option is available. Can also do carriage rides.
Skydive Big Sky (Innisfail)
A complete skydive experience for both newcomers and expert jumpers alike. Focus is on skydiving safety and providing the ultimate parachuting experience to anyone visiting their facility. Discover the ultimate thrill of skydiving.

Really an adult outdoor playground each gym contains 12 double fitness machines selected to give a broad-based general workout. A park bench is included at each of the sites to provide a convenient meeting place.

Kerry Wood Nature Centre / Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary
Red Deer’s year-round home for natural history and environmental education. Exhibits, demonstrations, events, programs and Alberta’s first nature playground, the Nova Chemicals Imagination Grove ensures something for everyone. Since 1924, the Sanctuary has been protected as a federal migratory bird sanctuary. 5 km of trails, a bird blind and viewing decks leads you to a variety of habitats.
Discovery Wildlife Park (Innisfail)
This 90 acre zoo provides a wildlife sanctuary for over 40 species of orphaned animals including monkeys, grizzly bears, jaguars, wolves, alligator, black bears, tigers, lions and camels. Daily educational animal presentations allow visitors to get up close to meet the animals and chat with the animal trainers.
Ellis Bird Farm
Located just 35 minutes northeast of Red Deer, Ellis Bird Farm is an excellent spot for bird watching. The farm has extensive wetlands and hosts a large purple martin colony, a large collection of nestboxes and demonstration wildlife gardens, all connected with wheelchair-accessible paths. Nature-based events and workshops are held throughout the summer season (May to September).
