Lunchtime is special on Fridays when the food truck vendors converge between 11 am and 2 pm on 50th Street. First Friday Red Deer
Red Deer is a vibrant community that celebrates the arts and the first Friday of every month is a chance to see local art, enjoy live music and refreshments at our downtown galleries. First Friday Red Deer is an ongoing partnership with the art galleries of Red Deer and the downtown businesses.
Art Alley is a collaborative project transforming the walls of Downtown Red Deer into a vibrant, positive space for the community with eight original murals already completed and three more to the alleys of our city by the end of the summer season. In each location, original, hand-painted murals by local artists on are display.
