Kick off the Family Day weekend with the Family Day Friday Dance, February 16 at 6:30pm at Festival Hall, 4214-58th Street. Based on community dances of days gone by, the evening will feature live music with the Pentastics, a DJ, hula hoop dance games and more.
Doors open at 6:15pm with the DJ starting at 6:30pm and the live band at 7:00pm.

Friday Family Dances are presented by the Country Pride Dance Club, Red Deer Arts Council, Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society and The City of Red Deer (Culture Services). These partners want all individuals in our community to experience affordable opportunities for multi-generational dancing, to learn the dances from our unique prairie heritage and to enjoy the physical, mental and social benefits of dancing together.
